At rAge Expo 2019, the Streamer Zone was a big hit among fans. It brought together some of South Africa’s best content creators, streaming about everything from esports to design and mobile gaming to top hardware picks. This year, as rAge enters the digital space due to COVID-19 from 6-8 November, the Streamer Zone may not be occupying a physical space. But there will still be loads of fresh content – and a few giveaways too.
FULL STREAM AHEAD
The rAge Streamer Zone, powered by Mettlestate, features a carefully selected talent line up of 25 well-established and up-and-coming streamers, who will be doing a series of two-hour streams over the course of the weekend. The content to be streamed will be widely varied, with a lot on the cards for Apex Legends fans and RPG enthusiasts, a variety of esports commentary and hype, design and creative content, tutorials and general geeky discussion.
Mettlestate’s Social media and Community Manager, Carly Twaddle, says, “For a lot of people, meeting up at rAge is one of the great highlights of the year. And in a time where we can’t be physically together, the Streamer Zone is a way for us to bond and stay in touch, even at a distance. We can still celebrate what rAge is all about by collaborating and interacting online and that’s the purpose of the Streamer Zone – to bring people together”.
The full list of who will be participating in the rAge Streamer Zone, along with a schedule of what times each streamer will be live, will be announced over the next few days on the Mettlestate social platforms.
